We made it across the Okeechobee in good time and weather. Our first stop was Stuart Florida. While Jan was walking Lucy one day, she saw a friend, Mike and Diane Casey Ruhr from Minn. (her sister was Jan's best friend in grade school in Winner SD). Mike and Diane were in the same marina outfitting a new boat, was fun to catch up with them. Definetly a small world we live in.
Bob is welcoming us to Vero Beach, we travel about 6 hours a day, and stop as we want. Vero Beach hit the spot with nice restaurants and beach. The tug with a tug at the pier behind us, really cute. We meet so many interesting and nice people along the way.
A view of the intracoastal as we head up the east coast of Florida. Many beautiful homes and towns along the way.

Lucy on the watch, she loves the boat. This is a typical marina scene.
