We are back on the Lucky Star after a month at home in Denver. We will try to go back home about every 6-8 weeks, to catch up on the office and house. We had a great 60th Birthday celebration for Bob while home, complete with his sisters, cousins, Jan's family and many dear friends.
And, here are some of those great friends on the Lucky Star. When we got back to Ft. Meyers, the Craft's, Dunn's and Elrod's were in Naples FL at the Dunn's condo. They came over to spend the evening with us at the boat and out to dinner. We really enjoyed being able to have them see the boat and exactly what we are living on these days.

This is the Caloosahatchee River that took us to Lake Okeechobee. This is also part of the intracoastal waterway.
The lock entrance and dock in Clewiston, will open up to Lake Okeechobee. We crossed Florida to the east coast at this point. This time of year the route through the Keys was too shallow. We tied up here for a few days waiting for the winds to die down, so we would have a smooth crossing.
