We anchored next to the uninhabited island of Caya Costa, near Captiva and the Pine Islands. We took the dingy to the island and took advantage of their nice hiking trails. Spent a couple of days at this anchorage before going to Ft. Meyers.

Entering the Caloosahatchee River from the Gulf, going into Ft. Meyers.

We left the Lucky Star in Ft. Meyers for the month of March. This marina is in the downtown area of Ft. Meyers, so we had time to explore another lovely Florida town. We love the palm trees. We have had such a good time on the boat, hard to leave her for awhile. the Lucky Star has been our home for the last two months.
