August 15-20 Killarney, ON

We made our run from Britt, Ontario to Killarney. This is a dot on the map that is an oasis to boaters, one of the last stops on the Georgian Bay before the North Channel. This area of the Georgian Bay is so beautiful, very few cabins or people. Some of these areas do not have roads, accessible only by boat or sea plane. The town of Killarney has 4-5 marinas, no post office, just a general store, a few restaurants, somewhat of a golf course, and lots of beauty. This whole area is so clean and unpopulated, the water is clear and pure.
We ran into some of our 'looper' friends, so had dinners, played a round of golf (not the best course we have seen),
and enjoyed the new friendships. We were docked at a lodge, so had access to activities, dining, and pool.
We had to replace the boats batteries, so we were held up here for a few extra days. This is a view from the marina, almost a picture to paint.
