We are happy to be back on the Lucky Star. We flew into Syracuse NY, rented a car, and made our way to the boat. The marina had already launched the Lucky Star, so we could stay on it right away. Everything was in order, felt good to be back afloat. We had some work done on the transmissions while we were away, so we went on a sea trial with the mechanic, all well except for a little black smoke off the starboard engine. Well something needs to be fixed. They came onboard and told us parts would need to be ordered and we should be on our way in a week.

We decided to take a car trip to Montreal and Quebec City, we are so close, why not. What beautiful cities, we especially enjoyed Quebec City and the Charlevoix area north of Quebec City. These are picture of Quebec Vieux (old city) inside the walls and the Petit Champlain area. The Chateau Frontenac is the large hotel, pictures of this are usually used for Quebec City tourism.
The streets a old and wonderful, full of art gallerys, shops, antique stores and wonderful cafes.

We headed north along the St. Lawrence River to a small village in the Charlevoix region. This is the Casino Charlevoix, and the St. Lawrence Seaway.

We got back on the boat after a week of travel, the parts are still not in. We are spending our days doing odd jobs on the boat, shopping for provisions, and enjoying the other boaters in the marina. We have been lucky to have such nice people around us.
